I am planing on painting only the outside of my FJ 60 and was told that 3 quarts will be enough but just to buy a gallon ( then i have some left for later repairs) of single stage enamel.....

I have used their product on a steel hull yacht and had good sucess. I ground off as much of the rust possible and sprayed and covered with their rust encapsulator. fairly inexpencive and quick fix - definitive better than replacing the metal......

I like the hobart 140 - with gas it will weld as good as the millermatic and for most car (body) work there is no problem with overheathing ( I believe it's 20% @ 90 amp cycle). I was thinking of building my own roof rack for my FJ 60. Any recommendations of mounting it? Buy Raingutter mounts? (expensive), weld to raingutter? or? Also what's the max weight the roof can take?

I use a Hobart 140 with flux core ( at home) and it works o.k. for repairs on my FJ 60. At work we have a Miller mig and even though it is a quality machine, I think my hobart works well enough....however I recommend that if you buy a flux core make sure it can be converted to mig ( just incase)...

Yes, I have used a Oem kit. I also have wored on brakes before and bleed them in the correct sequence. I seem to have no leaksl and Fluid ( dot 3) is clear... However NO brakes what soever..... Feels like master cylinder is completly gone - but than I can't believe the MC worked before the...

I can press the pistons back in, then when pressing the prake pedal a few times the pistons push onto the pads but not enough to stop the axle from spinning. I have the front end lifted up and both brakes are now not working..... I am baffled....

I have just installed new front brake pads on my 1985 Landcruiser. The right caliper was leaking, so I took it off and rebuilt it. After installation I tried to bleed the system. (A friend pumped the pedal ) there was some air coming and than nothing anymore. The pedal just goes to the floor...
