not to harsh your mellow but i notice you have mounted this to the fender as well as the roof. do you forsee any problems with twisting when offroad? seems something might give and i'm thinking it's the roof mount.

knuckle kit I just installed the kit from Marlin (bought when on sale a month ago for $95) included koyo trunnion but no wheel bearings or thrust washer. sourced the wheel bearings from autozone (timken) for way less the OEM, 1/2 the cost. bought new thrust and spindle nut kit from Marlin cheap...

2 sets of tires Why not have two sets? One stock for DD and the second for wheelin. Pick up used rims, paint'em black, look for used 35's, and you're set. New stock tires $500 @ tire rack, used rims $200 ebay, used 35's wherever $400. Total $1100. New 35's alone are going to be close to $1100...
