MORE PICS Also, I didn't remove the seat mounting hinges. I just pulled the old cover over the hinge and slipped the new back over during install.

    New Leather On The Way

2nd row done... So I completed the 2nd row and believe me when I say “heat” either by heat gun or the sun is your friend. I struggled trying to get the plastic tabs for the 2nd row seat backs to hook together. I was doing this inside and didn't think it was bad installing the covers and it...

What are you guys paying to have seats re-covered?

I'm in the process of replacing my leather right now. Waiting for the materials to arrive from Shane @ Metric tLC. Before I decided to do this myself I called three shops here in Sac and was quoted $2800 to $3500 for rows 1&2 with console, headrests, and armrests. The quotes were for materials...

Cruiser Dan's knuckle rebuild kit question.

Cruiser Dan's knuckle rebuild kit question.

just say'in "I believe timken will hold up as well as Koyo for half the cost" $50 a bearing seems insane to me $400 for front and rear total. We'll see how the timken hold up is what I meant. Also, two bearings I replaced (front inner) were timken to begin with. They looked as good as the Koyo...

What's broken ? Where to start??

Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't this have been a prime time to use the CDL and 7pin mod to limp home without the front engaged? Just for future information so as not to risk further damage to axle or knuckle housing.

    Rolled the 80. Now what?

Bottle jack and a couple of 2x4's or 4x4's could fix the windshield cheap......
