I have the same problem, Kaymar rear dual swing out with a 35” tire on it, ARB front with 30” light bar, snorkel and an Inti roof rack… no way a stock 80 series cover will fit.
Looks like this guy sorted it out, he shows a cover he ordered for a 2015 Suburban on an 80 with extra jewellery...
Hey Rick I contacted you several months ago about your MAF/injector kit for the TRD s/c. At that time you were working on this project so you didn't have any of the old kits in stock. With this Whipple s/c and its projected 12 PSI of boost, will the upcoming MAF/injector kit still work with...
I’m in the same boat, currently retooling my stereo, ditching the OEM head unit, amp, speakers etc. in my ‘97 LX450.
The useless “sub” in the console has to go, I’d like the 80 console with the storage, extra switch locations etc.
I know the later 80 Series 95-97 lower box is a bolt in, but...
This isn't likely to be your problem if your fuel pump is running reliably when you apply 12v to the FPR, unless you also changed your fuel pump...
I recently thought I was about to lose my mind - my pump quit so I replaced it with an OEM Denso. Afterward I drove it for a few days and then one...
My newly purchased IBS DBR, soon to be installed, sitting on my kitchen island not connected to anything - is showing open circuit across terminals 87/30. My assumption is that it's okay, but who knows, it hasn't been installed yet... I'm still deciding on batteries.
I’ve had my eye on them, as well as Metaltech, looks like they ship out of the US too. Pain in the a$$ that the border is still closed though, I have a commercial address that I ship to just across the border, makes buying in the US easy.
I like the look of your reduced 10 degree angle sliders...
Sounds like Jason at Cruisin' Offroad is done with bumpers/sliders. I got in touch with him late last year asking about a set of sliders for my 80, he's not making them anymore. He did have some remaining skid plate sets and may be still making them, but as for fabricating bumpers/sliders etc...
Second that! This thread saved me from insanity...
I changed my fuel pump after it quit working. Recently bought an OE Denso pump because I found my old pump had seized. I found some rusty water in the tank low point, 23 years of condensation and probably too much time sitting over several...
I did precisely what you did, just bought the Nitro gear set for my Cruiser under a group buy here on 'Mud and dropped off the box of goodies to a local guy who was familiar with Cruisers and owns his own drive line shop. I do have factory e-lockers and I seem to think the kit was specifically...
Just looking into that myself, digging through the millions of antenna posts in the forum. I have come across a post where someone commented that a third gen taco antenna worked with the base fitting the curvature of the 80 fender well, but no pictures were posted. I'm getting ready to install...
I was just about to order a set of radius arms from Superior Engineering until I saw this thread. I never liked my caster plate correction on my 4" TJM lift while the driveline geometry is fine, (front DC shaft was necessary in my case, I now have no vibration issues) the axle bump stop isn't...
I like the idea of using the 60 series brake parts to get the parking brake on the rear axle. I'm putting a 45 FF in my '72 fj40 along with an H55F so I was going to lose my park brake too when I went to a split t-case. I ended up finding a conversion kit at Specter Off-road that uses Toyota...
I did a quick search in the 40 section for an answer but I can't find one...
I'm doing a 2UZ/H55F conversion in my 72 FJ40. I've bought a 60 series split t-case for it (and managed to find the parking brake conversion kit for the t-case). In any event my original gauge cluster is in rough...
I guess the shipper didn't have any trouble shipping a used tank? I thought that was a major hang-up, unless a tank is new and have never contained fuel. How did you make out with finding a dual filler neck? I think that is the hardest part to locate these days.
