Looks like the caliper slides on the pins just like the very common GM calipers everyone uses. The pin threads in tight to the bracket and the caliper moves on the pin.

Typically, the M-12000 is mounted foot forward and the motor is on the right side (looking it it) (driver side). Looks like you might have it backwards in the pictures. Also, my buddy has the same bumper on his Dodge and has to modify it to fit an M-12000 I gave him.
