I got the hubs apart and cleaned them, and now everything locks up fine. I didn't read the last three posts though, and I just hit the side of the hub, which worked fine...but I also have no rust on my vehicle, one of the benefits of the really dry climate in which I live. Thanks again, you...

When unlocking and trying to lock them again, I didn't feel the usual click. I tried turning the drive shaft and found that the driver side hub wasn't locked. Will servicing the hubs fix this? Just take them apart and clean and grease them? You guys are awesome, by the way. Thanks.

As soon as I get off from work, I'll go try and lock and unlock the hubs a couple of times and then I'll try it again. How else can you tell if a hub is sticking?

They are manual hubs, and it is doing this when they are locked. Manual tranny, also. Thanks

I can usually shift into 4 HI when I am moving at any speed, but lately when I am moving at all, it just grinds and wont go at all. The transfer case has plenty of fluid, any ideas what could cause this? I have an 89 Toyota 4x4 Pickup 22re. Thanks
