I daily'd a 60 for about 6-7 years. It was pretty constant maintenance and fixing and improving. I sold it a few years ago because the rust was more than I wanted to deal with and needed something that took less of my time. Now, my 100 and first gen Tacoma are making my tools just collect dust!
Your Datsun trailer takes me back to the days of driving my 71 Datsun pickup. I typically don’t care for truck bed trailers but yours looks really good!
Hey all, looking to see if anyone in the area has a small military style trailer that's road worthy sitting around. We have a camping trip coming up and I was between renting a small Uhaul box trailer or buying a nice M416 (under $2k). For now, I thought I would see if I could compromise and...
Hey thinking of going this route instead of the Vaistech adapter method. Do you have any photos of this all cleaned up and finished? I'm sure cutting something out of plastic or painted aluminum or something would look good. How far does this stick out?
We just got a 100 series and this one has to go. $7000 obo.
185xxx miles. 1983 FJ60 that some past owner swapped in a 3B drivetrain supposedly from Canada and added a turbo and intercooler. I've daily driven this truck for 6 of the last 7 years since I got it. Drove it home from Atlanta to...
Are these numbers available anywhere? I have an 06 LC if that makes any difference.
I might move my Mile Marker 10,500 lb hydraulic winch from my 60 to my 100.
Im still learning looks like. So, there’s no inspection cover on the rear axle. That makes a different, however, not that big.
I guess it’s what I’m willing to live with as far as cost and performance compromises are concerned. I still haven't even driven this thing in the dirt yet. I know I...
LOKKA - Automatic Differential Locker Lokka says the front lockers require the part time kit. The rear for an open diff just replaces the gears. The carrier remains the same, so it's a driveway job and the third isn't removed.
That screen shot above doesn't show the bottom of the list for the...
Good thoughts. A locker is not at the top of my list, but the low cost of the Lokka and ease of install means it’ll be somewhat soon.
I’ll definitely get on the trail the way it is and see how this thing works stock!
