Take a screwdriver and open the tabs on the upper and lower tanks to remove the tanks. Take pics.

When the fan bracket, is R&R. The oil sending unit (sensor) and crank sensor wires, is routed behind the fan bracket. Most likely: They either routed wrong and possible cut wire or pulled wire housing block (plug) of oil sending unit.

Tees and stat have been replaced in past few years. Im going to do the upper and lower hoses, cap, new tension clamps with the radiator. Getting it ordered tomorrow

When you pull the radiator to replace it, backflush the AC condenser coil while you have access. And since you'll be draining the system, it'll be a good time to replace t-stat, tees, and any hoses that don't look good (I replaced them all, ha)...

Why not replace? It’s honestly a maintenance item

:cool: With proper maintenance. No reason they can't go forever. They were the last, built to be maintained. IMHO the 100 series was the pinnacle of Toyota engineer. Could they have done even better, YES! But not by much!

Maybe some taps with a brass drift on the part sticking out?

Absolutely! Just trying to give back to the community that has given me so much knowledge and help. I will say, the DT headers are super easy to install.... ...when the engine is outside of the vehicle. hahahah.

Most will opt to replace if it is brown and micro fractured. Im a fan of doing things prior to them breaking. A radiator is a quick and easy job and not much cost.

The 300K sticker goes out a lot more frequently than this one right here. (Because of human failings not Land Cruiser's)
