Hi IH8Mud,
My name is Dustin, my company is FN Wheels, and for the better part of two decades we've been making wheels for Toyota trucks and SUVs.
As some of you know we've made a couple of 17" models specifically to fit 100 series...
When the fan bracket, is R&R. The oil sending unit (sensor) and crank sensor wires, is routed behind the fan bracket.
Most likely: They either routed wrong and possible cut wire or pulled wire housing block (plug) of oil sending unit.
I just never give my cruiser the beans. Just ease out on the throttle nice and easy. Then I don’t have to be disappointed. I remember the first time I went to pass someone on a 2 lane road…😆 I pull out and hammer down- that’s when I realized..oh...
Tees and stat have been replaced in past few years. Im going to do the upper and lower hoses, cap, new tension clamps with the radiator. Getting it ordered tomorrow
When you pull the radiator to replace it, backflush the AC condenser coil while you have access. And since you'll be draining the system, it'll be a good time to replace t-stat, tees, and any hoses that don't look good (I replaced them all, ha)...

Most will opt to replace if it is brown and micro fractured. Im a fan of doing things prior to them breaking. A radiator is a quick and easy job and not much cost.
that is so awesome. Few other models could ever hope to make it that far. I still see so many 100's on the road, i know most of them are 200k , 300k , or more.
This week my 2000 LC became a member of the 500,000 mile club.
It is all original. Engine, transmission, seats, even the windshield. Everything works, including the sunroof, and it is a pleasure to drive. This is my daily driver and I've owned...
2004 with 180k miles. Original radiator is very brown on top. Was considering replacing it as planned maintenance. I make a few trips to Colorado per year and wouldn’t want a trip ruined. It doesn’t leak, fluids look good, maintenance has always...
