What is the best designed rock sliders for LC 250?

I have the White Knuckle Sliders on my 40 and they see a lot of rocks. They do their job beautifully. This photo is pre-install, but gives you a sense of some of the terrain we tackle. I would like to get some sliders on my 1958, but I am much more concerned about the weight in this case as it...

    Builds A "Sensible" Build - 2024 Land Cruiser 1958

Pressed steel plates are very strong. as I see it, they’re perfect unless you are rock crawling. I like the fact that they are lightweight and if I do somehow damage them, I can replace them.

OEM Toyota/Lexus Rock Rails - Anyone put them to the test yet?

I will be interested to see a comparison in the weight. I have white knuckle sliders on my 40 and have put them to the test. They are excellent! Not sure I need anything that stout on my 250 though. Not going to be doing the rock crawling I do in my 40, just want something there to protect the...

    Running boards / steps

Anyone have any experience using the OEM sliders? Guessing they are not DOM tubes, but I am also not rock crawling with the 250 like I am with the 40. Just want to feel confident that if I am in a position where I take a hit, I can replace the slider and not have it bend into the body.

Fan blower markedly weak in heater setting (and windshield de-icer)

Might be trying to avoid wind chill inside the vehicle? I know I prefer to not run the fan at high when it is still cold in the vehicle, even if the air coming out is warm, blowing it out fast into a cold vehicle may feel cold. Haven't experimented with mine. @stridertexas , was your experiment...

    Meteor vs White

Meteor Shower was my first choice and I have never been all that excited about white vehicles. However, when my dealer called me back in June and told me they had a white 1958 for me, I went in and looked at it, really liked it, and love it to this day. It’s simple and easy to keep clean. There...

    LC250/GX Suspension Thread

@crikeymike thanks so much for the knowledge! I just ran across the video when I was looking into what a diff drop kit was and know some of his other videos were well regarded so I shared. Appreciate this forum for exactly this kind of knowledge.

    LC250/GX Suspension Thread

You might want to watch this video from Tikerer's Adventure before making a decision on a diff drop. I have no experience on the subject, but his videos are pretty good.

Any buyer's remorse after getting the new 250?

Not just a real Land Cruiser, but a Heavy Duty Land Cruiser! Here is my Heavy Duty and my Light Duty Land Cruiser. Love them both.

Technical Service Bulletins--please post them here

The brakes on my 250 were squealing loudly when backing up. Took it in and they found built up brake debris between one of the rotors and the pads. Cleaned that out and they are quiet again. Will post up if it isn't resolved long term. They also resolved a rattle with one of the long covers to...

Loud whine in reverse while braking

Yep, mine does it too. Haven’t had it in yet, but very loud brake squeal.

1958 Owners... Any regrets not getting an LC Trim?

Seems like a manual disconnect will do the job. I mean how often do you need to make the change? With 2 lockers it would have to be a pretty gnarly trail.

    Predictions: Bigger Tires?

I have had the same experience on my 1958 with my speedo being pretty darn accurate for 275/70R18 KO3s. Maybe all models are calibrated for the larger tires of the LC and FE models?
