I guess I would question how often you will be towing a heavy trailer up a sustained incline. I get it that this system may not be the best for someone that works in the mountains and pulls a heavy trailer for a job, but for me, if I have to slow down to 50 from 70 on that 10 mile pass through...
Interested to hear the details on the driveline specs. I remember seeing a post about LC vs Tacoma and it was shocking to see how heavy duty the LC was in comparison.
6 pack of good beer from your home state and knowing it is getting used would satisfy me. I will say, it appears to have had an additional bar added and later removed. Would need a bit of grinding and then repainting if you wanted it pristine. I can take pictures if you want.
I have an OEM I pulled to put in a MetalTech, but I am in Minnesota. Would love to have someone use it, but the shipping probably wouldn't be worth the hassle. Maybe a mudship?
Check out Products and services - BILSTEIN and then choose “search products by custom categories“ and then “custom light truck”. I just picked up some of the 5125s. Only got one installed before the kids got me distracted last night. I cut the boot off per recommendations of others on Mud.
Really cool idea. I don't have the funds to be able to do this today, but I hope to be able to do this sometime in the future. Good luck with the great idea.

I am just getting started on a dizzy replacement. Bought a new Trollhole dizzy, did a bunch of reading on how to hook it up and decided I was ready to go (I am a pretty inexperienced mechanic).
So, I found a thread walking me though it.
Set the timing to TDC by lining up the line on the...
Well, I reached out to Coolerman, he was very helpful and will be sending me a quote.
On to the complete novice electrical question. I wanted to verify that the switch is really the issue. Started studying my wiring diagram and quickly realized that I have no idea what I am looking at...
Hey all,
Had a fun time the other evening. Went to my daughter's school for a fair, and when I came out with the kids, my '77 40 wouldn't start. No click, but everything electronic worked in the on position. No problem, I am prepared for this, last time I was out at Poser's I picked up a new...
If their shoulders are above the height of the seat, when there is a collision and the person is thrown forward, their spine will be compressed. That is why a bar above the height of the seat makes sense for taller rear seat passengers.
I put in a MetalTech cage and the Bestop seat along...
