From what I can understand. short Wheel base 70's, since they are more passenger vehicules with rear seats have the floor pan that slopes at the back for rear passengers feets so those suspension seats ( that were exclusive, or more usual on those wheelbases) would'nt fit on cargo Land Cruiser...
Yes. Our floor (at least on mine) does'nt look like this.
On the parts catalog of two differents models, the drawings seems to show differences on the bases. The part numbers are not the same on BJ's and HZJ's
As an example:
1987 BJ73L: 73810-90K01 LH suspension seat assy
1996 HZJ70L...
In fact BJ's 70 where only sold between 1985 and 1986 inCanada so they become very hard to find now as you imagine even more with suspension seats. I don't even know if they would fit on a newer 75 series
The RM172E is from 1990 and it's true that it only mention 1.03-1.09mm for timing but I have the 1998 RM617E that is now talking about
0.65-0.71mm with ACSD and 0.85-0.91mm without. I also have many Service data sheets (SDT) that indicates that
before 1995
1.03-1.09 mm
between 1995 and 1998...
Interesting but can you explain me why there are still 2 plunger stroke specifications, one with and another without ACSD, since it is supposed to be disabled anyway when making the adjustment
Since the timing is made with the ACSD desabled (metal shim between thermowax and lever) Do you know why there are still differences on the plunger stroke spec? Maybe there are still internal differences even if the device is removed
