I went with RAD rubber splash shields. OE's were trashed or had blown off and MIA. Seem to be well made and fit is great. A little pricy, but what isn't .

there was a thread where a guy spec'd some for an 80 and I just asked for those. The angles match the hood bulge just right. They were cheaper than anywhere else and just what I wanted.
Make sure your tire tread is at similar tread levels. I was running MT's and put a spare on that was at a higher tread depth and it really pulled during braking. easy to swap front tires and see if the pull changes direction? Just a thought.

About to do a breather manifold for eveything, both diffs xfer case and trans on a '97 LX450 triple locked. Trying to add the poly line push in type fittings.
Can someone confirm that the Xfer case and trans are press fit before I try to remove and break things in tight places?
