    Low cot for tent

make sure you get one with 4 supports. If there is a support at the middle, under your hips, it will be very uncomfortable. I've been using the Byer Tri Lite cot

    tongue receiver help needed

thanks for the detailed suggestion. I hadn't though about stress risers. What do think about just notching the tongue at the 2" mark to slide the receiver over it instead of adding the strap to the bottom?

    tongue receiver help needed

right now the trailer tongue is centered exactly at my hitch height. I can raise the trailer an inch with longer shackles if necessary. I'm wondering what the strongest way to attach the receiver to the tongue is.

    tongue receiver help needed

I'm working on a trailer with a 2x3 O.D. x1/8 tongue and want to attach a 2x2 I.D. x 1/4 receiver to it (to interchange couplers/eyes etc). Should I notch the 2x3 at 2" and put the receiver over it? Notch the top or bottom of the 2x3 and insert the receiver? something else? I'd appreciate any...

    flooring & sides suggestions

I had an HVAC shop build me an 18g sheet metal box almost exactly that size. It cost $200 but I need to screw/glue/weld tubing on the top edge for strength and attachment points

    axle consensus: camber or not?

Thanks for the input. I had also thought about half-camber, but ended up ordering a straight tube.

    axle consensus: camber or not?

I'm working on a small trailer and have to decide on axle camber. spring center is 42" and hub face is 60". Trailer LOADED will be no more than 1200lbs, on a 3500 lb axle. I would expect a no camber axle would be preferable, but with the spindles hanging out that far from the springs I'm not...

help! axle width with brakes- fit Wrangler?

Also, Anyone know offhand the thickness of the drum? I assume the axle spec width of 60.5" does not include the drum?
