    a/c circuit breaker tripping on 85 FJ60

The A/C circuit breaker keeps tripping about 10 seconds after the A/C button is pushed on my 85 FJ60. I gave up trying to find the problem and took it to a local mechanic. This is what he has replaced so far; Amplifier, Blower Motor, Circuit Breaker. Next thing on the list is to replace the...

A/C and Heater Controls not Working

Thanks for all of the responses. To answer the first question, yes the blower motor is working but at a low speed. However, because the panel is dead( buttons, temp knob and the LCD display) I am not able to adjust anything. My wife drove it today and said that it periodically comes to life...

A/C and Heater Controls not Working

The entire Heat/AC control panel is dead on the wife's 98 LX470. It is blowing out warm air at a low fan speed but the lights and controls are totally dead. I checked the fuses and all looks OK. Has anyone had a similar problem? Thanks

    T Bar crank ?

Well, a little of both. I am going to take your advise and re-index the drivers side so that it is even with the passenger side. Then, depending on how it looks I may raise it a bit or just leave it as is.

    T Bar crank ?

Thanks for the clarification Liam! I checked out your thread on re-indexing the T bars and had a question. Instead of cranking down on the T bar like I had done, would you think it possible to get more lift after properly re-indexing and then adjusting from there? Here's the skinny on what...

    T Bar crank ?

Ditto's to what 2000UZJ said. Righty Tighty until you can't go any further. It's a simple job but depending on undercarraige corrosion the bolt may need some lube first. I did mine a few weeks ago. A bit of advise though. Wear some gloves when cranking down the bolt. I had a little mishap...

98 LX470 AHC to OME Suspension Swap by Mudrak

I feel stupid asking this but here it goes. Is it possible not to have torsion bars ? I have looked at some diagrams of the torsion bars but don't see anything on my rig that resembles what they look like. Are there any better pics or diagrams that show what they look like or exactly where...

98 LX470 AHC to OME Suspension Swap by Mudrak

Very good. Thanks so much. I do have a some rust so I will probably lube it for a few days before digging in to it..........and get a FSM. I just picked up the rig today and it is in very nice shape plus it only has 66K miles on it. Thanks again!
