    Replace Oil Pump in Frame

I'll send this to the top again to see if anyone has pulled this off. There seems to be sufficent room underneath the truck to manipulate the pieces off... What I can't determine is wether there's an issue with rear where it connects to the transmission.

    Replace Oil Pump in Frame

Has anyone replaced an oil pump on a 100 series while it was still in the truck? I've checked the FSM and step one says "remove the engine". I don't want to remove the engine if I don't have to. Here's the background: I'm replacing the steering rack and in the process of removing the oil...

200 Series and Tundra wheels on 100 series photo thread

@Steelman The front and rear mud flaps you have in these photos are just what I need/want to do to my truck. Are there any details you can share as to how you accomplished this?

Help needed getting the rear springs correct

I received the 2863 springs. I had all springs side by side on the floor and also installed on the truck. Here are some less than perfect observations. On the floor the 2862 and SOF2RH are about the same free height. The center of hub to fender measurements on the 6760 lbs truck with a rear...

Help needed getting the rear springs correct

I spent some quality time with the spring charts and the assumption that the Slee heavies fall between the 2863 and 2864... 2863 springs are on their way. I'm growing my collection.

Help needed getting the rear springs correct

Well, I just put the truck on the scale. Front: 3160 Rear: 3600 Gross: 6760 That's heavier than I would have guessed and it would be easy to add 240lbs of gear for an even 7k. Does anyone have experience with the 2863's and this type of weight that can comment on hub to fender measurements?

Help needed getting the rear springs correct

It would be great to know how they compare to the OME stuff in an apples-apples comparison.

Help needed getting the rear springs correct

Thanks for the feedback guys. RobRed: I've read your posts many times. I appreciate the documentation. I didn't mention anything beyond the rear springs, but I also have the OME torsion bars installed as well as longer rear sway bar links. Once I arrive at my ideal height I will fabricate the...

Help needed getting the rear springs correct

I did mention a dual swing out bumper with spare tire, sliders, and drawers... but admittedly I don't know the exact weight. I have been meaning to put the truck on a scale for some time just to get the ideal tire air pressure sorted after ditching the passenger tires for load range E truck...

Help needed getting the rear springs correct

I would like to direct this question to all those that have tried different rear spring combinations... I have tried several different spring options now and am still searching for the "ideal" setup. What I would like to avoid is too much more trial and error, so I am appealing to the...

    Best Exhaust Company/System

For the sake of addressing the (subjective) drone of non-OEM exhausts... There is a beast known as a Helmholtz resonator that can quiet a drone coming from an aftermarket exhaust. If after installing an aftermarket exhaust system you find a drone, find a good exhaust shop that will correctly...
