I got a call yesterday about an at risk male cane corso in Virginia. Of course I jumped into my rig and drove the 584 miles there. Just waiting on tomorrow morning to meet him and take him to his new home. Update to follow....

Yes. My Dissent load bars are flat “C” channel members. If your load bars are round, U-bolts would work. The point is to distribute the loads associated with the awning to more than just the side of the rack.
  • nor_cal_cyclist
Bush references "load bars" in the instructions - assume round would work with a u-shaped threaded attachment to hook the load bars?

The BushCo instructions specifically said “load bar” and not to just attach the awning to the side of the rack. The large BushCo “L” brackets extend onto the rack load bars about 12”. This provides a lot of moment resistance to uplift from...

Kinda wonder if the Gobi brackets that attach to the outter tube steel will work (pict below) - guess it depends on how the holes line up. Gobi does say their brackets will work with the eezi-awnings, which per the website weighs about the same...

Added some rear bling bling, just badges on the rear for now. I also added some Silas deadening material to the firewall, it might be a waste of time but I am going to give it a try. Next up is the front bumper, I decided to reclaim the...

Anyone install a Bush Co 180 awning on a Gobi stealth rack? Curious if the mesh floor on the Gobi is strong enough to support the brackets supplied by Bush Co, or possibly the awning mounted to the Gobi brackets (got a set of 3 I picked up on...

That’s fantastic, it really shows how dogs have deep feelings like humans. Funny Bruno and Atlas did the ying and yang thing also.

@NicksFJ40 sync’ed up? Man that is like simultaneous orgasm…funny! We were at the same point. I did not want to get another dog. We are older now but our depressed golden retriever has been sleeping 14-16 hours a day for the last few months...

After our Atlas passed last year, it took us a while to get another pup then realized Bruno needed a friend. This is Titan and Bruno. Took about a week for Bruno to accept him, they are syncing up very well. I

Pupdate...my Newfie is 17 weeks old tomorrow and a whopping 49.8lbs! He just got his "AKC STAR Puppy" Certificate and already in his next manners/obedience class, as we work towards his CGC and then CGCA. Also getting him in the water to start...

Believe it or not, the kids' dog wasn't as much help as you'd think assembling the grandkids bed.

Marley was picked up out in the country at a well known dog dumping site. She was in bad health and was tattooed with feces and urine and had udders hanging to the ground. We put through an intense medical regime and had her in a couple fosters...

Took another elderly dog to Old Friends Senior Dog Rescue in Gallatin Tennessee. Marley is a good ole girl I've transported three times now. She's probably the sweetest dog I've ever met. Gets along with every dog and person we've met.

Sassy will do the same thing, she hears things in the yard raccoons, possums, skunks, and neighborhood cats. I don’t scold her because it’s her job and if there’s ever a two legged intruder I want her to alert us. It’s how she got skunked. 3am...

The old dog is the pain here, she barks at everything (fox and cats mainly) given a chance... which then sets the other dog off (and he doesn't have an off switch)... so she's on a chain over night on the verandah now. Boy dog is very good at...

Potentially a big bullet. @bloc noted there is no low coolant light, so the only indicator of low coolant is the temperature gauge and eventually the dash lights for overheating. Both of which are slow enough in response to leave you lord knows...
