I bought pump from Cruiser corps. Spacer was separate item. No gaskets.

Pump in and working perfectly. Ended up making my own gaskets. Thanks all for the tips/advice. Running soooo much better now.

So, I pulled the non-working fuel pump from my 1980 FJ40 2F. I have a new OEM pump and spacer on the way. My question: will I need a gasket in addition to the spacer for the reinstall? If not, should I at minimum put gasket sealer on the spacer between the block and the spacer itself. Any other...

Garth1 -- Cool. Part of my desire to replace is also that the PO burned (battery acid?) a few large spots into the carpet -- behind the driver's seat and in the cargo area. Not big deals, but eyesores. What have you used for sound deadening?
