I drove over 1100 miles in my 1977 FJ40. Stopped in Idaho for one night and Colorado for the next. I went and got a tour of Proffitt's Resurrection Land Cruisers.
The long and short of it a year and a half ago I locked up 2 motors (spun a bearing on both) rebuilt #2 and now I finally have it able to drive again. But yes by all means go check out the build thread.
