I first get all the loose stuff off I can with a good wire wheel. I then use several treatments of Apple Cider Vinegar that I work in with a wire wheel for a few minutes; then move to Muriatic Acid you can buy at any hardware store. It's slow, but generally I just cover it up and let it work.

Scraped / chipped off the driver side floor pad off the floor pan; started chemically removing rust...It's a slow method, but not a lot of work. A few more treatments to go.

Driver side frame, just in front of steering box. I attached a photo. Hope it helps.

Got an engine cart built and motor pulled. Cleaned and Media blasted engine splash guards. Does anyone know if splash guards were originally black or plated? Mine appeared to have been black, but don't know if that was original or not.

Finished my PTO rebuild.....

Finished plating bolts, nuts and hardware for PTO rebuild, using a Caswell kit. Also, got yoke seal grove damage polished out and painted.

Put the finishing touches on my PTO winch today. It was a long rebuild...fighting a frozen clutch, shaft, frozen upper and lower rollers, welded bolts, etc...

Got the holes in the fuel tank brazed up and a coat of POR15 on the outside.

Looks good. Always glad to hear an owners evaluation of a particular part or parts and how they perform.

Got the old fuel tank sandblasted. Now have some small rust holes to fix. Typical 40 problem. :doh:

It came with the harness from the FJ62 donor. :):beer:

Got my fuse block changed out for 3FE swap and installed some NS-22095 headlights that I got from Cruiser Corps.:)
