Even better, find your local trails and go for it ! lol but like others have mentioned you are totally fine given what you did . It's also OK to do again if you needed on dry pavement just keep the wheel straight but yeah it's better to do on something with less traction under your wheels...
I threw in the towel and paid an indy mechanic to get it done. It was just too much to manage and after failing at the first extraction I gave up.... He managed to extract 3 of the 4 that I only broke the heads off of. The one that I totally butchered he drilled out, tack welded ( I think ? )...
I agree they will be totally fine based on what they are intended to do.
An added level of protection would be a cargo barrier. I like how it creates division for my front seats and keeps the rear feeling much more cargo like

Thanks for the response. My problems were solved by ditching the hawse and installing a Bulldog Winch branded roller fairlead in the bumper.
I couldn't find the ARB spacer kit on Amazon but didn't look too hard, that is a solid idea.
All good for now , not letting rope / roller paranoia get to...
Sounds like I need to find someone local to fabricate something up for me, I don't have any metal fab tools or skills.
So the mount appears to be shaped like an "E" without the top part of the E. Bottom leg of the E mounts to vehicle, middle leg supports the switch.
Did you need to install...
This comment about looking at the map has me laughing hard as I was skimming along thinking the same thing , but then I started to piece it all together and it really did make for a perfect route . I've been studying this section of the map non stop the past few months....
I finally got a...
Interesting, a more complete parts blowout with the lower clamp part number listed. Actually this blowout confuses things even more as it shows 3 different clamps listed. Unless I am tripping I see:
*19022 - used on the lower part of the T
*42100 - used at the mids
*52101 - used at the firewall...
I like the steel look and wouldn't want them to be darker to match the paint. The contrast is nice and they look more off roady now and if you go stealth you will look like a nerd..=] Just one guys opinion to consider
s***, good point. I was going off the parts diagrams in regards to part # and quantity, but I can't recall which was larger.
I'm not totally sure which was which, best I can say is that parts list I copied above looks accurate and the sizes do vary. It will be made clear to you when doing the...
That's correct, and the bottom two line items were the two different sized clamps. I ordered 8 of each because I was unsure and my dealer told me they are all the same....but if you look close at the parts diagram you'll see they don't have part # for the bottom barb on the T. Those were the...
Stick with OEM. the diameter is slightly different on the lower part of the T
Could do the hoses as well for not too much $$ and not have to worry about it for another 150K + miles.
You'll notice I ordered 8 of each clamp style. I wasn't sure what was needed but as mentioned the lower barb (...
