The FJ60 set-up sounds like a good alternative if I can not locate the BJ42 parts. Do you have any photos of your set-up so I can get a visual idea of how the pump and steering box are mounted? I am also curious where the idler pulley mounts to the engine (if I were to locate one)?

Luckily, I have the newer style crank pulley with 6 bolt holes. So, one hurdle crossed..... Does anyone have pictures of the pump setup on the 3b so I can get an idea where and how brackets attach? If I can get a pump mounted, installing a mini truck ps box may be the most do-able solution.

OK, sounds like I should stick with 33's for now. The 5 speed man come sometime in the future. Any thoughts about increasing the exhaust pipe size?

I've got the four speed with the split case transfer. I was wondering about upgrading to the 5-speed. I have one in my 60 and love it. Is the install into the BJ a simple swap, or is more involved? Also, what ring gear size would you recommend if I went with 35's?
