Studder/cutting out on heavy gas pedal

Depending on age of your LC, miles, and overall condition a full tear down may be in order. I have a 94 and with numerous oil leaks and interment issues. I Had the motor rebuilt and replaced cleaned as much as I could after getting it back. You prolly don’t reliaze how marginal or in bad...

Temple Dealer wants $4,200.00 for a new exhort system, parts are 8-10 weeks out.

Prolly not the fastest or easiest to get all the part numbers, if we’re being honest. It also costs your time and gas to have them look at it. I’m also actually surprised they looked at it for free. All the ones around me want a minimum $100+ to look at anything.

5 Knuckle Jobs Later... Still Leaking

Did mine again a couple months back and So far NO leaks. One thing I did different was replace the spindles to the newer style with the needle bearings inside and small bronze bushing. Based on it not leaking yet that’s the only thing I can point too. I am thinking my old spindle may have...

80 Series Seat and Center Console Upgrade

I would steer clear of the center console. Ridiculously expensive, adds weight, and really does not do anything over the stock. Just keep the factory seats and get them recovered with new bottom foams. I have a set of recaros they are nice, but I would probably be just as happy with stock seats.

Dissent offroad 80 series modular bumper interest

Did you mount the high lift bracket? That might be where some of the hardware goes. Looks like you got everything mounted so could just be extra. Mine had a bunch of hardware as well. Sorry to hear they missed the inside frame brackets. I’m thinking you’re referring to the two brackets that...

    Radiator replacement options (ADVICE NEEDED)

The Denso radiators are a newer option in the market and not many people have them. I went with stock replacement in my 94 Landcruiser, it’s the cheaper brass. When I replace an again will prolly just get the Denso for some weight savings. There parts quality has always been on par with...

5 Knuckle Jobs Later... Still Leaking

I tried both Toyota and Marlins. Both the seals looked fine when inspected. I think they both serve their purpose and work fine. I believe there is another issue at hand not related to the seals.

5 Knuckle Jobs Later... Still Leaking

Keep us posted. I just swapped my driver side to the RCV. Put on the ABS ring and boy what a pain. So far not really impressed with these over stock. I mean guess there stronger and have lifetime warranty. I am having the same issue driver side keeps leaking. This my third rebuild...

All of a sudden... a severe shake at 40MPH

IMHE, the vibrations often come from vehicles that are neglected and over 25 years old. People need to understand that yes the vehicles is a Landcruiser so the reliability is good. However you must also remember these vehicles are old and things are wearing out and need to be replaced or...

    A442F Transmission Problem

Just follow the FSM troubleshooting process and report back. Not a hard thing to do. I mean is written by engineers and the folks that built the truck.

All of a sudden... a severe shake at 40MPH

Sounds like 💀 wobble. Better park and not drive it until to check every suspension part. In all seriousness though, does no one do any basic troubleshooting before just throwing out things on the forum? I mean at least check the lug nuts or look it over.
