Diesel LC300 (3.3L) production was halted backed in Q4/2023 in JPN and then there were news about emission test issues and finally late in Feb 2024 that the production has "restarted" !
But has any country / region received the new 2024 Diesel LC300?
Nothing in the Middle East region so far...
Late to this thread game.. But I just started a 1983 resto at the east side (DMM) @fvunen .. it was difficult to source a good condition FJ40 but not impossible. Next project is 45 !

Added LC100 to fill the vacant garage space and it was such a pleasure. Manual tranny , 6cyl with beautiful Rustic Green and ended up driving it more than my LC200. Two different platforms but both very capable vehicles.

So in sequence, sand blasted fully , cleaned, primered and then black coat of high temp paint plus clear coat. Didn't opt for powder coating .. we believe the reason it corroded so badly in the first place, was that the inside of the panels weren't painted. They just got a little over spray. So...
The pics show the extent of rust on aluminum base. Dismantled it and it only has a Single layer of paint - after paint remover, it revealed the extent of the corrosion. The paint peeled off so easily.
The rust spread across the aluminum base and it started to look even worse. The second batch is the same. So with a help of DIY friend, decided to remove and repaint them and see the extent of rust. Pics are self explanatory.
there is another brand solely marketed at "Hell For Stout" Shocks are Here! , called HFS (Hell for Stout) - Cool cruiser page mentions some numbers but couldn't find any vendor side !? ih8mud search shows few experiences for 40 & 60 series.
