I have that tyre carrier on my UK spec 80 ..... It was fitted by the PO without any additional bracing and its holding up fine with a 35" tyre fitted. The bracing is there to add strength when the carrier is open .... as long as you dont hang off it when it is open or drive the truck with it...
I know all about the Rhino Charge, run by John Bowden of Gumtrees Landrover, infact the sign company I own manufactured the trophies a couple of years ago ! .... might well see you there.
My FJ is the one in my avatar

I'd go with the fuel pressure not being great enough from the pump ... swapped mine over to a Range Rover fuel injection pump (I'm in the UK, we've got loads of Range Rovers :)) and that cured it !
Thanks for the replies, unfortunately once shipping costs are factored in it is not feasible to buy from the States, these doors are on offer for $200 in the UK .... sounds like a reasonable price then
I have death wobble at the same speed of 30mph, I spoke to a tyre guy who said it wouldn't be the balancing at such a low speed - balancing affects the handling from 60mph and above ?!?!
I dont want to bang on about safety, but the new Warn winches are all supplied from Warn with power interrupt kits that have a remote solenoid and switch allowing incab disconection of the main positive cable .... ask yourself why ?
I'm in the market for 4 x standard rear FJ55 springs, I dont want lifted ones. Are they available new off the shelf? or do I have to have them made by Alcan or the likes - plus I'm in the UK so I need someone who can ship overseas!
Edit:
- I have just discovered that I can probably get these...
OK, sorry dude .... dispute the kill switch on the neg side though - theres every possibility that the winch would continue to pull a neg through its mounting
Dont confuse a 'Kill' switch with an in cab controller - you need a sure way of cutting the main feed - something like these
