    Frustrated FJ40 owner

    Check the little screen where the fuel line goes on the carb. I had a similar problem. That fixed mine. Goodluck.

    I have a 75 fj40 that lost a bearing in the trans. Do you guys think I should replace it with a used one from sonebody on here or replace the bearings. Does anybody have one for sale. I am in NJ. Thanks
