I like(d) the idea of a kit. I talked with the upholstery shop owner about them, and they do install them - no hate for the kits. But for the extra few hundred bucks (front and middle rows, arm rests, center console) and knowing it'll be perfect...

Also consider supporting local, US based products with your money. It is hard to agree with the moral compass of some foreign businesses at the moment.

Just FYI, you can remove the speaker cover by just removing the lower perimeter plugs and bolts then prying the bottom apart and from there you can access the 3 screws or nuts that hold the speaker cover onto the door card.

SPC is still the way to go for lifted (bigger tire) applications IMO. Your complaint about the squeak and bang are most likely attributed to worn ball joint(s). The SPC upper ball joints do wear out quickly when wheeled hard, but they are...

The GROM does everything - Apple CarPlay, keeps the terrestrial radio stations, retains that 120p resolution screen. The only problem with the GROM is it's STILL glitchy. They shoot out updates (a lot) to fix glitches. But it's still glitchy...
