    Upgrade front bumper?? Remove AHC??

I have a 98 LX470. I need to upgrade the front bumper and get a winch too. What recommendations does anyone have? Also I am thinking that I should remove the AHC, which is functioning properly, because I do not want it to fail while I'm out wheeling'. And I'd like to get more aggressive tires...

That's what I was thinking. I'd like to go bonkers and do 50 upgrades all at once but I'm gonna take my time.

Luckily that is right down the street from my house. We are in North Idaho. Yes the AHC is fully functioning. I need to get up to speed on lifting these. I'm guessing that you are deactivating the AHC and leaving it permanently lifted. I'm not going to lift it more than 3" I think.

I am going to look into upgrades. Pardon my ignorance but this 98 LX470 is considered a 100 series, right? I see that I have A LOT to learn.

Good morning everyone! I was looking at 100 series Toyota's. I finally found a nicely maintained 98 Lexus LX470. It is stock and decent mileage. It is currently at 205K. I am looking forward to reading and learning from this forum. I will be building this rig into a fun family adventuring...
