So, recently my AHC pump broke leaking all the fluid in one go, and my local Lexus dealer gave me a huge quote for the pump replacement. I decided to buy the pump assembly and AHC fluids off ebay and have my local mechanic replace it to save on costs, as I'm not handy with car repairs myself. My...
Update: I was able to drive to the dealer with no issues. Hopefully the pump motor is still intact. I tried to keep it under 100kph where the AHC leveling kicks in.
Lost quite a bit of AHC fluid for a few days due to a rusty line. Got AHC failure error on the dash and the car is now stuck in low. Can I drive it to the shop or does it need to be towed? I'm about 30 miles from the dealership. TIA
FWIW, two out of four AHC lines started to leak on my 2010 LX (120k miles) due to rust. Dealer replaced entire both lines and flushed the AHC fluid. All in all including labor cost me $1000 CAD. I bet if you do it yourself it will be less than half the cost.
I had the same issue in my 2010 LX. Turned out the cable underneath the USB/AUX unit was unplugged (probably by previous owner).
Try with a different cable/phone. Check if the USB port actually works (you can use a multimeter or check if it charges up the phone when connected).
Also, I found...
I'm almost certain this is the item: Toyota Genuine 8586160011 Computer Seat Climate Control 85861-60011 for sale online | eBay - https://www.ebay.com/p/663352853?iid=332610625069. I would double check though.
Part Number: 8586160011
Still not fixed :frown:. I asked my dealer to check the issue and they said the seat heater switch is broken. I bought a new switch from ebay and swapped it myself; did not fix it!
Next to check is seat climate control ECU (under the passenger seat). but I gave up on it since it is kinda pricey...
I have the same issue with passenger seat on my 2010 LX. Switch doesn't light up, and none of the ventilating/heating features work. I replaced the switch itself (part# 84751-60140) but it didn't help. I'm guessing the ventilation/heater ECU assembly under the seat needs replacing. Last I...
I would personally install a light bar in the front bumper instead and call it a day. It could potentially be much brighter than high beams as well. (although you still need to turn them on/off manually)
