Awesome photos @lumbee1
I still have access to the ONSC instagram page. Would love to post photos as I have time.
My plan is to use photos from this thread.
I will try to give credit to the photographer.
If anybody has an issue just let me...
Jonathan,
FYI I showed your photos to a friend that is a semi-professional photographer and into off-roading (Land Rovers). He said your photos are some of the best that he has ever seen.
My endorsement of your photography is pale in...

These parts will allow you to reinstall the factory underbody tire carrier.
Before I get to talking about this little project, keep in mind that, as most of you know, I am an Accountant by trade. My ability/desire to "make things pretty" aren't my strongest attributes. A discerning look at my truck should make that...
It has been an absolutely brutal work schedule and I finally had some free time to finish processing and posting photos from Relic Run. Being both a driver and a photographer means I didn't get a lot of trail shots...
I think the better question is "What has failed on your 80 during a long distance road trip?"
Short distance trip: injector wire was exposed, shorted out on the valve cover, blew the fusible link, and made the truck cut off instantly. Check your...
I double nutted some studs on the rear axle of a 79 that needed an axle overhaul. The studs were trashed and didn't come out easy. Several were so difficult that the nuts got destroyed.
I've got Cooper ST Maxx on the Cruiser now and while they are good on-road, their offroad performance is not that great. I find myself slipping and sliding quite a bit more with them even with descent tread and air'ed down to 17 and 18psi. In...
You speak the truth. I don't think I've seen anyone kill a OEM 80 series wheel.
I'm looking at Nomad, SCS, and SSW at the moment. But when these styles are no longer desirable and I need a replacement, do I have to get 5 new wheels?
I'm running 35" Toyo RT Pro on 17" wheels and love the set up. The tires are as quiet as any AT I've run, and much more aggressive off road. They also look awesome  Highly recommend.
I’m in the same boat. Still looking for good looking 17” wheels that are the correct width and offset and easy to find replacements if needed. I’m worried aftermarket wheels could be a hit or miss as far as buying replacements. They’re here one...
I went with 17" Vision beadlocks and I have zero regrets about it. 16's are the red headed stepchild of a tire size at this point: ignored and forgotten.
Over here I couldn't find any 315/75r16s anymore or only China made.
Largest I could find is 285/75r16. Since it's an 80 series, obviously 35s are the bare minimum.
Switched to Braid Winrace Ts + 315/70r17 Kumho At52.
Sure 315/75r16 look better...
