Thanks for the quick replies guys! After digging further, I found the "Cruiser Mechanics" page, (duh) and I'm off to the races! Should be somebody there I can use! Love Mud, Love Mud, Love Mud.........
Used to do all my own work to the fzj80. Now, I need someone I can trust, to work on her for me. Who would you recommend, within a 500 mile radius of Hailey, Idaho?
I need engine work...head gasket,
oil leaks...timing cover, upper pan arch seal, steering pump...looks like a rebuild. Does anyone...
Son drives a 100 in O.C. Good rig for that location. Doesn't sound like you need a hardcore wheeler, because of the wrenching involved. Go with the 100.
Have you checked your calipers? The high pitched grinding could be the metal wear fingers on the brake pads?
Sometimes, heat glaze, or other pad condition problems can cause it.
Worry not. The plastic used for those straws is similar to the thickness gauge plastic material used to mic the backlash setting for diff setup anyway. Perfect for squishing between gear teeth.
I've had these "Ingress Protection Factor" IPF 968's since '06. They're about the same as the rectangular 868's. Hybrid reflector is a good theory, but they don't throw any farther than my HIR bulb high beams. I've tested them during a completely dark sky night.
Just a little wider coverage up...
the guys down at Les Schwab will pretty much tell you that...it's about the sticky soft compound of the snow tires.
But most of the snow tires around here are studded, and so, legally must be removed by April 15 anyway. Temps around here are in the 50's then so, it works out.:meh:
