I went to Toyota directly on this one and the tensioner came with the pulley mounted. I tried to order it through advanced and autozone but did not trust the fit and they had to order it. Toyota had it in stock. Did you check the fan pulley/mount bracket also?

Depends. Your CVs in the front have been in how long? They are somewhat sensitive to changing their angles. My understanding is they wear a bit of a groove in their location over time and changing the angle moves them out of the groove which could cause failure. The diff drop keeps them in...

The others did not require any balancing.

I have the 285 coopers and they tow fine. A little on the noisy side but for an aggressive AT I love it. Just took them in to have them rotated and balanced. Only one of the four needed an additional .25 ounces after 6k plus miles.

How are those Coopers working out? Had them in rain yet?

Some people have reported a clunk associated with the front differential mounts. Others have it with engine and transmission mounts. Some have to replace the upper or lower control arm bushings/mounts.
