    Serpentine Belt Tensioner Replacement

    I went to Toyota directly on this one and the tensioner came with the pulley mounted. I tried to order it through advanced and autozone but did not trust the fit and they had to order it. Toyota had it in stock. Did you check the fan pulley/mount bracket also?

    I have the 285 coopers and they tow fine. A little on the noisy side but for an aggressive AT I love it. Just took them in to have them rotated and balanced. Only one of the four needed an additional .25 ounces after 6k plus miles.

    Some people have reported a clunk associated with the front differential mounts. Others have it with engine and transmission mounts. Some have to replace the upper or lower control arm bushings/mounts.

    Rear seatbelt came unlatched in collision

    It could be the accident and the impact caused the unused latch belt (which runs through the same channel as the regular belt) to strike at just the right point to release the center belt. I try to wrap mine somewhere under the chair when not in use.

    Look at Slee's website to see what year engines came with vvti etc for compatibility. It should be under their tech section for buying used 100s. Did the engine overheat with the current water pump? Might want to get another water pump.

    Too much potential for failure on old overheated engine unless you do a complete rebuild. Get a lower mile one and go through it.
