I took your advice @71-CRUISER . I'm happy the way the wheels came back and the colour. Tyres and wheels totally transform it now. What do the collective think? Power Steering, front disc brakes, and new stainless steel exhaust have made it so driveable now.
Agreed @71-CRUISER and would you believe I have a set being in refurbed as we speak but my father in law is a stubborn 80 year old who wants to keep it all original. So it’s a happy medium at the moment getting the centre inserts for the older wheel(albeit a temporary fix).

FJ looks great. May I ask the colour and finish you have on the wheels. Also, tire size. I've picked up a set for my '81 BJ40 in Ireland. It's red and I think the wheel colour may finish it nicely.
