Cutting an access whole in skids

Just got Victory skids, but after my first oil change, they got covered because the access whole doesn't line up with the oil. The shop suggested cutting the access whole bigger. Any major issues with doing that?

Skid plate diff drop vs. Suspension kit diff drop

Yeah I had to email Ironman directly. They told me: But that line about the cv's is helpful.

Skid plate diff drop vs. Suspension kit diff drop

Gotcha. That doesn't sound too bad. If it's just a matter of a little more drilling, I might just keep the extra 1/4" (but point taken that it's not a huge deal). Victory's method already requires you to drill holes elsewhere. Idk why they would just say you need a couple more. (Probably just...

Skid plate diff drop vs. Suspension kit diff drop

I'm looking to get skid plates. Slee and Victory are my topic choices at the moment, but I'm concerned with the fact they required you to use their own diff drops. My issue is that I already have a diff drop with my lift kit (Ironman stage 2). Ironman said their drop is an inch, while both...

Why did you choose your front bumper?

I don't know what it is about that, but that is just gorgeous. What's the story behind Kavic? People seem to act like it's not being made? Is it different than http://www.kavikoffroad.com/ ?

    Suspension for overlanding + highway

Ah, that's helpful thanks. Sounds great. Just curious, any reason they only make the rear adjustable?

    Suspension for overlanding + highway

I'll be honest, not quite sure what you mean by that.

Why did you choose your front bumper?

By sleeker, do you mean something without a bull bar?

Why did you choose your front bumper?

Leaning towards ARB right now, because the following: Seems to be as strong as anything else on the market. Definitely looks at home on the 100 series. The ARB side rail option seems like a really cost effective way to take care of side rails and sliders. I know they're not true sliders, but...

    Suspension for overlanding + highway

I was thinking 1-1.5k (US$). But I'm more patient than cheap, so if the perfect kit is 2k, I'm fine with waiting to save up a bit more. I was thinking about that too. I'll be wanting to upgrade those too soon, but I think I may keep my stock size Geolandars for in between trips. Huh, I didn't...

    Suspension for overlanding + highway

Curious what suggestions you all have for a suspension upgrade that won't ruin my highway performance. Looking to start overlanding without killing my on-road experience. Right now I love the way my 100 drives on the highway and road trips, and it'll still be my DD for some time. However I'll be...

Why did you choose your front bumper?

Is a suspension upgrade needed after adding a heavier bumper? Oh also, it sounds like bumpers getting loose might be a general issue, is that right? Not just something ARB faces?

Why did you choose your front bumper?

Are ARB's known to rattle after some time?

Why did you choose your front bumper?

For aesthetics? Or are they stronger?

Why did you choose your front bumper?

Howdy all! Considering a winch and front bumper, just curious what everyone has and why they chose that one. (Bonus points for a winch too!)
