Started the tear down and replacement of Retro's suspension with flip kit. Had to cut out all the u-bolts and overall was a pretty good pain the @$$. LOL. Front done. Also started on reconfiguring my throttle cable and started on the "small" rebuild of the 8274. Winch needs a new contactor...

Good info, thanks gnob. I have some extensions for the 100 which is currently running synthetic but the 40 has wire rope on an 8274 and wanting to switch to synthetic for the sake of keeping my recoverbag as light as possible.

I will tell you it worked like a charm. Solid!

Johnny, how much more line do you think you could spool on your 8274? TIA
