I have Northwest Off Road rear springs with the over load leaf on the bottom. I feel that it limits the rear flex and they snag debris when going through mud and water. I have never gotten hung up on them, but I think that sooner or later I will.
I would go without the over load leaf and find...
The 3RZ is becoming a very popular swap because it has more potential than the 22RE.
But, the easiest would be to build the 22RE. It does respond well to the cylinder heads with oversized valves, a header with a 2 1/4 exhaust (all the way back) and oversized throttle body with a ported intake...

Hi, I'm Kevin Yeager
I'm currently located in Chinle, Arizona. We moved here from Claremore, OK.
I own a `68 FJ40 and a `85 4Runner. The 40 is in storage until I get a place to rebuild it. So, the 4Runner is what wheel in for now. I also have a M416 trailer that I...

We have this same problem in aviation. It is called dissimilar metal corrosion. It is more of a problem when there is moisture present and a bigger problem when salt water is involved in the process.
If the frame and tub are properly painted, this will not be a major problem. If...
No, this would cross wire the brakes and turn signals and that would be bad.
I think that I understand what your problem was. Many vehicles use the brake lights for the turn signals, so the 4 pin trailer connector works for these vehicles. One wire for ground, one wire for running lights...
Your trailer looks great. It will squat a little when it is loaded, but not much. I have not weighed what I have carried, but my trailer seems to be at almost the same height as when it is empty. These trailers can carry more weight than what the data tag says they are rated for.
Hi Matt,
The trailer you saw would be worth picking up just to sell to the collectors for restoration. Then use the money to get an M416 or Canadian M101.
There is an M416 listed in the classifieds right now that is located in NJ. Here is the link...
Try checking with Ron on G503.com. He runs the site and sell parts for the military Jeeps from the site. If he does not have what you need, he will know where to find it.
Metalmaverick,
I just talked to someone yesterday about the C4C program. It states, that the vehicle has to be certified "Destroyed" in order for you to get your incentive. That is not recycled, as in parts going to others that would use them to keep their Land Cruisers running. It means...
