I think it would help to let us know what breed(s) of dog(s) you have. Pictures are even better. I assume you are wanting to get them into the 2nd row seats, and not the back. Our Saint Bernard has an easy hop to get into my 200, with BudBuilt...

KLF replied to the thread Rear Lift / Drop Gate - what is it?.
It's a torsion spring that keeps the lower tailgate from slamming down when you open it. It would be pretty difficult to remove, you'd have to remove the entire tailgate.

KLF replied to the thread Show off your tools!.
I occasionally still get to use some of my dad's tools that I inherited. Most of them were crap cheapo stuff though. Other than woodworking, my son has more tools than I do.

KLF replied to the thread 2021 LC200 cupholder mod.
I use the same Yeti cup. A few pennies worth of 1/2" peel-and-stick weatherstrip foam, holds it nice and snug. Been on there since 2018. (BTW, had a 700 BDL way back in 1986, in .222)

Are you saying that even if the stalk is set to OFF, the wipers are still running? If so, I would probably start there, although I have no idea how to open that up. Maybe also pop off the kick panels and look for water intrusion. Is the truck...

Nicely done, which lights are you using? Any wiring issues?

2015 DC long bed, TRD Sport. 115k miles. Interior is mint. Have they adjusted the valves? Maybe there's a leak somewhere. Or maybe it's time for that 1UZ V8 that I always thought it needed.

Very cool, thanks for the update. I'm sitting in a dealer showroom as I read this, just handed over a check for a '15 Tacoma. Yes, a 10 year old truck. I honestly thought about looking for a vintage truck but the rust demon is still prevalent...

KLF replied to the thread Toyota Owners Site - Invalid VIN?.
Position 9 in a VIN is called the "Check Digit". It's a calculated number based on the rest of the VIN. There are several Check Digit calculators on the Web, maybe check that it's correct. Check Digit Calculator Check Digit Calculator -...

KLF replied to the thread Toyota Owners Site - Invalid VIN?.
I was using a laptop Windows computer. Another oddity: there are a lot of entries in the service records, apparently the PO always had it serviced at the dealer and there are entries showing they changed stuff like the diff and t-case fluids...

KLF replied to the thread Toyota Owners Site - Invalid VIN?.
I had a similar problem last week with a '15 Tacoma that I'm probably buying. Entered the VIN, it told me it was invalid. But when I logged in the next day to try a different one, the truck was there in my Vehicles list, fully searchable.

Maybe there was something on top of the filter, and when he pulled the filter out, it fell into the impellor of the fan. Maybe pull the filter out, use a mirror to look down into the fan.

Bummer. Best of luck with the repair, looks like you're in good hands.

KLF replied to the thread Have any of you ever built a frame?.
The hardware torch worked fine for the first 3 bikes (I still have it in my basement), then eventually my dad upgraded to one of those "kits" with the oxy bottles and Mapp gas cartridge tank, and a small handle on hoses. He said it was a lot...

KLF replied to the thread Have any of you ever built a frame?.
My dad and I built 4 frames back in the 70's. The first one is hanging in my garage now. It's a great bike with lots of miles on it, but ancient by today's standards (its only 10 speeds, for instance). My son has 2 of the others, and my nephew...

KLF replied to the thread OME-BP51 Lean.
I have the BP-51 setup with the same lean. Been there since installed 9/2021. No amount of messing with the KDSS valves has resolved it, so I ignore it. Agreed on the lack of instructions. At least we have YouTube to find some help. If you...

Yes, I would get a 5th wheel and tire for the spare, do a 5 tire rotation every oil change.
