I grew up loving land cruisers I drove a 1985 fj60 from the moment I got my license till I was 25 and I always wanted a fj40 since I was 13. I finally got one found it on Craigslist for 2000. It was torn apart but everything was there completely stock except for a new painless wiring harness. I was working night shifts when I got it home so it took me about a month to get it wired and it fired right up and everything works. Recently been having issues with what seems to be running lean I have only found small vacuum leaks in the shafts through the throttle body. It's been beating me up trying to get it to run smooth again. I have found this site to be my best source of information. I use sor for parts but now I will be doing shopping here
