hi i am trying to get steared in the right direction. I have a 92 fj80 3fe 4.0 4WD and im having weird problems with my tranny, it first started with the reverse gear, it takes almost 3mins to kick into reverse, now all of a sudden it started with the forward gears, it revs to almost 3k rpm...

sorry I overlooked posting that. It's a 1992, 4.0 fj80 series the sticker on the door jab says made in japan hope this helps.

tried changing the relay still no resolve. Got a tuneup while i was at it. My mechanic thinks it may be a cold start sensor or something he is not sure though. I dont wanna fork out a bunch of cash on parts I dont need.

will check fuel relay and system. Will let you know how it goes. Thanks

I just got an 80 series TLC and everything was fine until I replaced the leaking thermostat housing. Now after the cruiser sits for a few hours it takes a long time to start. The engine rolls but refuses to start, After about the fifth or sixth time it finally gives in. I really need this fixed...
