Drove to Chattanooga on one tank of gas, filled up for the return trip and mpg calculation was 12.9. Reasonable fuel mileage for a Land Cruiser.

Drove the LX450 to a meeting in Chattanooga, TN today. A total of ca. 250 miles knocked out and with the throttle body, TPS, and cables dialed in plus having the timing set properly it is running very good. Previous mileage with retarded...

I’ve been running a Lock-Right locker in the rear axle for ~15 years. Just regular 80W-90 for me. MasterPro or even Super Tech gear oil. No issues.

General question for the group…not a dig but curious. Why are so many people towing their 80’s and 60’s? I sort of understand towing a 40 as long distance might not be so comfortable.
