Yea, that's what I've found as well searching the forums. Hopefully this does the trick this year. Never got amazingly overheated (spewing coolant) but climbed the temp gauge to the point where I got a little nervous (205-210).

Put in a fan shroud! Kind of s*** quality but it's better than nothing. Something has to happen to keep this 350 cool in the summer...

Hey Guys, Thanks for the help thus far. Here's a pic of the front of the intake by the thermostat: Is that plugged port an option for a temperature sensor? I have a Weiand 8004 intake and believe it is (from what I could find on the internet) but want to make sure. Sincerely, Justin

Do the spare tire mounts only mount to the right rear side of FJ40s? I can never find one that mounts to the left but the close mount that's still on my 40 is mounted for a left-mounted spare tire carrier. Does that make any sense? It's early still...
