I'm sure someone else can confirm but that looks correct. The round divit should be 7 deg BTDC. To add; check the egr vac control modulator and the cats. Both of these can have similar symptoms for 3FEs. Btdc

I should have one from a drum knuckle if yours doesn't clean up as nice as you like. I think they're the same? 🤔

Assuming you are talking about the City Racer Fuji carb, it should be very straight forward for a desmogged 60. The earlier carbs used on 40s are taller and have a few differences. It's takes a little more effort for a 40. I have one on my 40 for several years now and it has worked great.

I drove my 40 for years with a frozen dizzy. Over time, I tried all kinds of stuff to break it loose with no success. One day, before going away for a long weekend, I tied the dizzy to a rafter in my garage with just a little tension. Came home and it popped right out.

Back in the old "3FE Yahoo" days, there were a couple of threads on using Green grease on the DS splines to help cushion the slop. Might worth a try...
