    Beef Basin/Ruin Park/Bobby's Hole

    I few years ago we did a loop from beef basin down towards the Colorado river and up impossible hill. I really was not paying attention to any maps just out exploring with some friends.

    Rode the alpine loop today on motos and it was clear. We tried to go up Poughkeepsie gulch but it was closed, still snowed in. I will have to go back in a few weeks and check it out.

    Did the Sydney basin off camber trail that loops back around once but never again.

    I was promised airplanes...

    I pumped up the nose strut a little to keep the prop higher off the ground did not notice any new dings in the prop. I kept the power low when taxing and rolled the power on slow on takeoff. Did a soft field style take off.
