Like all my builds.....I jump around and work on many things at once. So, I worked on cleaning up the chrome bits that go with the new ignition, headlight, and turn signal switch. They were painted black.....now shiny chrome. Also picked up...

Started preparing the door jams for refinishing. Scrapped off old vinyl top and weather strip. Next is wire wheel. Gotta cover up my freshly painted first though.

Got the brake light switch installed. Then bolted in the parking brake lever and cowl vent pull. Finally, the column is back in.

My 45 pickup is the same.

Free smoker grill. It's alittle rough, but still total usable. Someone come and get it before it goes on the curb for the scrappers. Located in the north valley. Gone. Went to coworker

This is still the most epic Cruiser rescue I've ever been involved with. Just awesome.

Celebrated the five month anniversary of the arthroplasty by building some fence today. 🥳 💪 Gotta love those ball and claw joints, and home depot screws 😂.

Blue dash.....

All, I thought I would share some pictures of my 1976 Ford CrewCab 4x4 that we are going thru. The plan is to give this truck to my Dad to drive around his new home in Idaho.

Primed the area of the dash that will be blue. Gonna get up early and spray that tomorrow.

Thanks. I think it looks even better outside. I cleaned and painted the black part of the dash and a pillars. The exposed bottom part of the dash will be blue. It needs alittle work and primer first though.

After test fitting and fiddling with the rear valance, I shot it with some primer. It's a race against the sun with my limited shaded area. Primer turned out pretty good. I am gonna spray some color on it later today.
