From everything I've read, this is a design flaw with the transmissions and is not related to any relatively minor modifications (e.g. 33" tires). I've followed the issue fairly closely since I just had to deal with it (see previous comments), and the issue has not been definitively diagnosed...

Yeah, I finally found a diagram online and found where they go. Also, the original problem was not fixed, and I ended up getting a full trans replacement. It sucked, but I'm also not sure one data point is enough to disqualify the end-plug fix as a solution.

Got my self into a bit of a pickle with my 2011 GX. I was taking apart the valve body to replace the SR solenoid end-plug, and the two little squares (pictured below) fell out at some point. I’m not sure which part of the valve body they came from, and there is no obvious place they go. Anyone...

So, I had the same issue. Tried to do the end plug fix tonight. Everything was going well until I went to put the valve body back together and noticed these two random squares sitting in the table. No idea where they go and obviously don’t want to put it back in with them out. Anybody have any...
