I read the faq section about wiring a relay in when changing to a gear reduction starter and tried that yesterday. When the truck started the engine would no longer turn off. I could even remove the key and it stayed on. I thought I wired it exactly like the FAQ suggested, but obviously...

Guess what is heavy and hard to push but will start if you do it? My 40!!!!!!! Thanks to all for the excellent help. I appreciate it. Does this mean I need a new starter? And if so can a dumb enginner change it?
