On my 80 series the fuel transfer unit from the sub to the main is a pump and a fuel valve/solenoid. Both have to be energized for fuel to flow. The fuel valve/solenoid is to prevent gravity transfer, i.e. siphoning. This due to the sub being...
Since my brain is getting old... The wires (and hence what/where they go) and fuses are pretty obviously labeled... The labeling is more obvious on the aux battery wires...
:hillbilly:
We have a very nice wire label printer where I work...
I have a powerpole connector in the cab that provides charge (small solar panel) direct to the main battery if the vehicle is parked for a few weeks. I have run + and - direct from the battery to that powerpole. So, the ground fuse is just been...
No concern, they aren't any more sensitive versus lead acid. The battery has a BMS so it'll prevent charging if it deems things too be too hot and the charge controller also monitors ambient temperature.
Maybe at some point I'll take some...
Noticed an occasional drip on the driveway. Thought it was transmission fluid, so purchased a bunch of hose and clamps etc and prepared to replace all the soft lines. Dropped the front skid plate and did some more observation and found it was one...
So, let's be clear here...
The LEFT side of the vehicle is the US driver's side. i.e. left and right are based on the view when you are sitting in the vehicle, NOT when you are looking at the vehicle from its front.
Anyhow, 18.5 is about 2"...
You don't need to pull the panel, the lens just pops off (carefully). And replace all of them with LEDs - brighter and lower draw.
And yeah, should be 194 style.
cheers,

West Oz outback as into the desert? If so, forget cell, uhf etc. HF (either ham or the old school HF stuff) will mostly work to get contact to someone. These days, plenty of sat based emergency stuff available and what I would bank on. I've used...
Cut the pipe short. If you took it to a muffler shop, that's exactly what you'd get.
That "lip" is nothing more than the pipe exending through the flange. The OEM cat was designed such that the pipe slipped into the cat to provide support...
Yeah, 100W would be 'ok'. Use a decent charge controller to do right by the battery.
Also, NOTE, you don't want to discharge your lead acid (gel, or wet) more than 50%, so whatever the AH rating of the battery is, you really only have 50% of...
Started yesterday. Time to replace the spark plug tube seals in the valve cover along with a few gaskets, grommets etc.
First step is to remove a bunch of stuff to get easier access and then pull the valve cover.
Removed the old seals and...
