I just had mine done and all cylinders were between 150-145. I was told by my mechanic this is about where they should be. My rig is an 86 with 185k on it.

I peeled off the loose and flaking plasticy stuff then sanded the spots that were bubbling. Then I just sprayed the crud out of it. For some reason the paint made the plasicy stuff peel even more, I got tired of peeling and sanding so I left it. It looks good from far but far from good. I...
