Thanks guys. I think I am going to get the adaptor for the 60 booster or cut the rib and make the 60 booster work. The mechanics at spector I talked to had no solutions and said to just cut the rib out.

I swapped a front axle disc setup from a 60 into my 70 FJ55. I had the booster and MC from the 60 for the upgrade also. I went to put the bosster in and it is a different bolt pattern and a support rib on the firewall is in the way. I have done some research and still can't figure out what...

I got the axle swapped in and realized that the fj60 booster I have doesn't fit flush to the firewall due to a support "rib" on the firewall. Is there any other booster that can bolt up to the 60 MC? Should the rib just be cut out and make the 60 booster work? Suck it up and get the $60...

Do you still have the rearview mirror and if so does it have the sun visor clip on it? If double yes, i'll take it.

Any thoughts against the aluminum radiators? Both shops said the aluminum ones weould only last 2 to 3 years, but I am not sure they kwew about 55's or maybe they were trying to sell me on the expensive recores. I am about to buy a summit aluminum and just try to make it fit. Anyone suggest...

I am looking for a new radiator for my pig with a sbc 350. Two radiator shops didn't think summits or speedways aluminum ones would sufficiently cool a 350. Both wanted about $425 to recore the original with 4 row high efficiency cores. Kind of steep for me. What do you all think is the way...
