    Agree, we have always had 2 dogs. We couldn’t leave Maggie our 6 year old lab without a companion in the daytime while we are working. They search the woods and pastures and chase armadillos as a team. Not thinking Tess is going to do much of...

    I hear the concerns about aging and dog ownership a lot. I always say if you are old, get an old dog. If you can't afford ownership, foster. I'm also a huge fan of multiple dogs. They entertain each other and it really helps cushion the impact...

    Talking about dogs and crap. Marley who is my daughter lab rescue found some freshies one day. Quite amazing how much of her body she covered with crap.

    Lost our last rescue unexpectedly 3 months ago. Our search for new one led us to Tess. Getting older we felt puppy was little too much and Tess appeared to be pretty laid back. Once we got home we learned how scared she truly was of people...
