The Window Rocket is my product.
I'll start by answering a few questions-
Austin didn't do anything sneaky in his video. He's a stand up dude and calls it like it is. I told him about the...
I just installed mine... took about 15 min... stupid simple. cut the time in half, it's about 80* today and down it took about 3.5 seconds, up it took almost 6. (that was rolling all windows up at once... I did that because that was when I...
If anything ever went wrong with it, just reinstall the original Relay and you're back to slow windows. Seems like an easy 🍌 mod for someone willing to give it a try.
I would make sure the window glass is adjusted to spec before installing the rocket. I think the guy in the video adjusted glass and installed new runs judging by how smoothly that window opened and closed. I’ve had my rear glass pull out of...
Changing the window runs fixed all my slow window movement in any weather. They operate fine now and I don't feel they need extra speed. But it's cool someone is still making new things for these vehicles.
little rough when it's 10* out and the window won't go up unless you pull while rolling it up.
so if there's a solution... why not use it? there's plenty of things about this 30 y/o truck we endure because of it's age... but if it can be...
Purchased a kit this morning, will report back later. If I recall, I know that Icon offers the same kind of upgrade on their builds but I do wonder if what they do is completely different than this application wise.
Guess I'll be the gunnie pig... mine is coming Saturday. my windows aren't super slow right now, with the warm weather, but all but halt in the winter and need help getting past about half way.
Austin is local to me and while I haven't met...
The jig is complete, and minor welding has begun. It's so nice to be able to rotate the housing as needed for welding and mock-ups. The jig was built with flexibility in mind. If I ever want to do the rear axle housing, all I have to do is come...
Great idea!
I just pulled them in my 93 and out flowed water both sides!
I have a very steep driveway and lately I’ve been backing in. The other day I noticed soaked passenger floor.
Ran trimmer line down, no obstructions, so I tried air next...
Big update to the truck over winter. After reading enough threads here, I pulled together a big work list and let the folks at Overland Cruisers in Belgrade, MT do their thing. The evolving idea over time has been to make this truck into...
Knocked off another winter project last night by installing the Huracan Fabrication locking tailgate storage lid. I was skeptical that it would be as sturdy as the OEM tailgate but when I was done buttoning it up I sat my ass on it and slowly...
Been traveling a lot internationally and a little slow on updates. I have about 2500 miles on the turbo set-up and absolutely love the experience. A 80 series is a special place and with a turbo it’s even more enjoyable.
A couple little items...

My approach was this: Follow Alia176's write up on servicing an 80 series AC system, my personal choice was to replace all o-rings, schrader valves, condensor, expansion valve, and then pressure check the complete system once it was...
Some numbers.
The Low and High pressure gauges are in the "normal" range based on the ambient temp at the house.
Vent temp is a cool 40°, sight glass shows "clear" and engine rpm is around 1200.
Well, that's about it folks - from start to...
So I put a thread in Tech about this, but I am wrapping up this project. Took quite a bit of test fitting, marking up the grille, cutting, sanding, and painting to make it all come together. Other than adding the synthetic rope and some wiring...
Yeah the 319s are spec’d to give 6” of lift with 220# of load over stock weight. 375# spring x 2 is 750#, so the truck will lower an inch every additional 750# of load. If you compute that you will get a 4” lift with 1720# of load over stock or a...
I used Wolfbox's first mounting option for the 4Runner that works well with the Delta arm. That said, I decided to remove it from my 80...I just couldn't get used to the perspective and a quick glance at the mirror with my progressive trifocal...
